Welcome to Fashion week!

Observation 1: Garance was sooo right, if you hang out on the street before the shows you get fabulously dressed people to appear with a clear and loud mission - to have their pictures taken by a photographer. Mostly they look really, REALLY cool and all the photographers do take they picures. Resulting in all the same people and outfits on all the blogs and web pages.... Am I missing something here? (Honestly, I did take some of those pictures and it was fun and new, but not as exciting as wondering around the city and finding real, amazingly stylish people. So you will find here both :-)

Postreh číslo 1: Garance mala svätosvätú pravdu. Ak sa poflakujete na ulici pred prehliadkami, znenazdajky sa vynoria super-duper nastylované osoby s jasne odčitateľným cieľom: byť odfotení. Väčšina z nich vyzerá naozaj fotogenicky a štýlovo a áno, všetci prítomní fotografovia si ich odfotia. Výsledkom je, že tí istí ľudia sa objavia na väčšine blogov a portálov... Mám pocit, že mi tu uchádza pointa... (Úprimne povediac, niektorých z nich som odfotila a bol to nový zážitok a celkom sranda, ale nevyrovná sa to tomu úžasnému pocitu, keď nájdete v uliciach mesta reálnych ľudí so svojským štýlom. Každopádne fotiek sem pribudne takých aj takých :-)

Observation 2: all the fashion editors, stylists and fashion celebrities walk really fast to the shows and unless you are: A, Garance, Scott, Tommy, Yvan or whoever they already know and love to pose for, or B, adopted to paparazzi mode (shout their names, jump in front of them, waving your hands, aiming your camera into their faces), which I am also not, you get pictures like this one here: the beautiful Giovanna Battaglia coming... going... gone... :-)

Postreh číslo 2: všetci editori, stylisti a hviezdy módneho neba sa presúvajú zrýchlenou chôdzou k dejiskám prehliadok. V prípade, že nie ste: A, Garance, Scott, Tommy, Yvan alebo ktokoľvek, koho už poznajú a radi mu zapózujú, alebo B, ste neobjavili v sebe povahu paparazzi (ergo nevykrikujete ich mená, nevrháte sa im do cesty, mávate rukami alebo zakrývate výhľad svojím foťákom), čo som zistila, že aaasi v sebe nemám, väčšina vašich fotiek je typu: krásna Giovanna Battaglia ide.. išla... odišla... okolo vás :-)

Resumé: Fashion Week is fun, would do it again in a blink of an eye. Although it is probably more fun once you are inside the shows :-) BUT: Fashion Week in town sure means you get many interesting people wandering around the city. Salut to that!

Resumé: Fashion Week je sranda, dám si ho kedykoľvek zasa a rada. Aj keď asi to je väčšia sranda, keď už sedíte vnútri niekde pri móle :-) ALE: Fashion Week znamená, že po meste stretávate zaujímavých ľudí, ktorí stoja za to. A na toto si pripíjam! Salut!
