A few pictures from the shows I saw at this year's Bratislava Fashion Weekend. Above is the collaboration of Libor Komosny and Veronika Kostkova, and I think they perfectly complemented each other. Her soft, quiet feminity his strong lines and shapes. Considering the fact that they are both students, it was impressive. Clean. Simple. Beautifully done.

Petra Poorova does lady chic very well, at BFW showed her not so new, but timeless Coco collection. It seemed to me that some models would have required better fitting, but overall the collection is cute with some funky ideas.

Marcel Holubec showed his dark side again. Mikyta's gentle and playful silk pieces became black and white (and leather) crowns of thorns, shiny zippers cut through soft and transparent materials. Flashes of crosses, skin peeking through, all the images, moments and quiet dignity came together when the final song played was by Noisecut... It gave me goosebumps.
Thanks to the organizers for pushing the limits to the better, looking forward to next years BFW!

Mikytine jemné, hodvábne šperky sa premenili na čierne a biele (aj kožené) tŕňové koruny, ostré, žiarivé zipsy pretínali jemné a priehladné materiály. Záblesky kríža, koža v prestrihoch, všetky obrázky, momenty a tichá dôstojnosť prehliadky dala zmysel, keď v poslednej pesničke znel Noisecut... Mala som zimomriavky.
Vďaka organizátorom za posúvanie hraníc k lepšiemu zážitku, teším sa na budúcoročný BFW!
Souhlasím, že ta poslední zmíněná kolekce je opravdu dechberoucí... Asi mám náklonnost k temné tuto sezónu.
