Preview: Dress for a muse by Maja Bozovic

A quick preview of the making of a special dress, through which the Fund of Tatra banka supports a selected young fashion designer. This year it is Maja Bozovic, student of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, who is creating a special dress for Adela, host the Tatra banka Fundation's Award for Art show. Maja took a completely different approach to the dress, more photos (and this year a video as well - yay!) coming soon...

Malé preview z procesu tvorby špeciálnych šiat, cez ktoré Nadácia Tatra banky podporuje vybraného mladého módneho tvorcu. Tento rok Maja Bozovic, študentka VŠVU vytvára šaty pre Adelu, moderátorku večera odovzdávania Cien Nadácie Tatra banky za umenie. Maja sa pozrela na šaty úplne iným pohľadom, viac fotiek (a tento rok aj video - hurá!) čoskoro...

Katarina's trench, Bratislava

And speaking of black trenches... here's one worn by Katarina, one of my most favoritest people to meet and shoot. Does anyone remember the very first time (and pictures) when we met, on the street?
I am flipping through all the older and newer pictures for a project and I still love these old ones of her... The beautiful, warm-hearted, multitalented girl... A keď sme už pri tých čiernych trench-och... tu jeden na Kataríne, ktorú s láskou pravidelne stretávam v meste a fotím. Pamätá si niekto naše úplne prvé stretnutie a fotky z neho? 
Prechádzam si práve všetky strašie aj novšie fotky kvôli jednému projetku, a tieto prvé Katkine mám stále veľmi rada.... Multitalentovaná, krásna to deva s veľkým srdcom... A veľmi ma teší ma, že je teraz čerstvo v Clique Models v Prahe, blahoželám (agentúre, samozrejme :-)! Jej profil modelky tu. Alebo jej blog tu.

All black, at Fashion LIVE!

There were moments during Fashion LIVE! when it felt like being in a different, bigger city during Fashion Week (I am looking at you, Paris. London. New York. Okay, getting a bit too excited here. But really, have you been? Did you feel it? The energy of people gathering, meeting, chatting between the shows outside Stará tržnica?)
Such a moment was when I spotted this lady in black. It was getting rapidly dark in the afternoon, so the pictures are a bit blurred, but since she was one of my favorite persons to shoot that weekend, I have to show her to you. Stylish, gently quiet, layered all black. Please, more stylish ladies like her in our streets!

Počas Fashion LIVE! víkendu boli čarovné momenty, keď som sa cítila ako v inom, väčšom, vyspelejšom, otvorenejšom meste počas Fashion Weeku (Áno, pozerám sa na teba, Paríž. Londýn. New York. No dobre, to už troška preháňam. Ale boli ste? Cítili ste to? Tú energiu ľudí, ktorí sa schádzali, stretávali, rozprávali pred Starou tržnicou medzi prehliadkami?) 
Jeden taký moment bol napríklad, keď som zbadala túto dámu v čiernom. Poobede sa rýchlo stmievalo, takže fotky sú troška neostré, ale keďže ma dáma svojou prítomnosťou extra potešila, musím vám ju ukázať. Štýlovú, tichú krásu, celú vrstvenú v čiernej. Viac takýchto dám do našich ulíc! :-)

Katarína, at Fashion LIVE!

Wearing a jacket straight from the catwalk, by PBL Prague, a label she creatively works on and manages, Katarína Král was one of the guests attending Fashion LIVE! I love the combination of the rough-tough sackcloth kind of material and sophisticated tail-coat shape. And the red loafers? Need them. Or some red pumps. Since after extensive, years long research I just realized that to me, red looks best on lips, nails and feet. There.

Katarínu Král, jednu z hostí Fashion LIVE! a menežérku a spolutvorcu značky PBL Prague som stretla v saku/kabátiku čerstvo z ich novej kolekcie/prehliadkového móla. Veľmi sa mi páči kombinácia drsnej, pevnej, až vrecovitej látky so sofistikovaným stihom fraku. A červené topánky? Potrebujem. Kedže som dlhoročným, podrobným pozorovaním definitívne zistila, že červená sa mi najviac páči na perách, nechtoch a nohách. Tak.

Walter Schnitzelsson at Grössling, Bratislava

After many questions about the soundtrack to the Isabel Marant pour H&M video, I decided to show you some of the pictures of the young band, Walter Schnitzelsson - here they are! Taken at the former and now abandoned Grössling swimming pool, these guys are talented, supercool and supersweet at the same time. It was my pleasure.

Viacerí sa pýtali na hudbu vo videu Isabel Marant pour H&M, a tak som sa rozhodla sem dať pár fotiek z fotenia kapely Walter Schnitzelsson - tu ich máte! Fotili sme v bývalých kúpeľoch Grössling, a s týmito supertalentovaným, cool a zároveň supermilými chalanmi bolo potešenie na mojej strane.
