Mischel, Bratislava

Black and fluffy white, with the leather camera strap being the same caramel colour as her hair - love those little (maybe) accidental details. I caught up with the very creative girl and blogger Mischel while she was photographing the (till the end of this week) current installation at Kapsula pop-up studio: Designer Showroom with Martin Hrča. Čierna s bielou kožušinkou a kožený ramienok foťáka rovnakej karamelovej farby ako jej vlasy - tieto malé (možno) náhodné detaily ma neskutočne bavia! Kreatívnu osôbku a blogerku Mischel som stretla, keď bola fotiť (ešte do konca tohto týždňa) aktuálnu inštaláciu v Kapsuli: Designer Showroom s Martinom Hrčom. The installation, inspired by his native Liptov and Iceland, includes the latest collection of the talented young fashion designer Martin Hrča (watch the video of the collection from Fashion LIVE! where Martin got awarded the title Best Designer), insane jewellery by Kristýna Španihelová, and the collection photographed by young photographer Lívia Štokingerová. V inštalácii inšpirovanej Liptovom aj Islandom nájdete poslednú kolekciu mladého talentovaného návrhára Martina Hrču (tu si môžete pozrieť záznam z prehliadky z Fashion LIVE!, kde Martin získal ocenenie Best Designer), neskutočné šperky Kristýny Španihelovej, a kolekciu nafotenú okom mladej fotografky Lívie Štokingerovej. Mirror, mirror on the move

I happily took part in IKEA's PS On the move campaign introducing the PS IKEA 2014 collection, for people on the move. So me! (Expect when sitting in front of my computer all night.) ANYWAY, I really loved the round mirror so I took the beauty with me from where it was first displayed - at Bratislava Design Week. And this is what the mirror saw on the way, until it has found its new home at....

S radosťou som sa zúčastnila kampane On the move, predstavujúcej novú IKEA PS 2014 kolekciu pre ľudí a domovy, ktoré sú stále v pohybe. Úúúplne ja! (Teda s výnimkou dní a nocí, ktoré trávim pred kompom, že.) Každopádne, dizajnové zrkadlo v kombinácii so svetlým drevom ma dostalo a tak som si tú krásu zobrala so sebou z miesta, kde sa nachádzalo - Bratislava Design Weeku. A toto je malý report toho čo zrkadlo po ceste videlo, až kým nenašlo svoj nový domov...

There was one more thing that happened before the wedding that I didn't really have time to tell you about (but definitely will do so soon), but point is: meet Kapsula. The first pop-up studio in Bratislava, housed in a recycled shipping container and based on ŠAFKO (Šafárikovo square). Kapsula will be regularly hosting themed pop-ups and exhibiting and selling local and international brands.
Most importantly right now: until the end of July, Kapsula is hosting the iconic shoe brand TOMS, which means that for the first time in Slovakia you can buy a wide range of TOMS. Here some pictures from the recent opening.

Ešte jedna vec sa udiala pred svadbou, a tiež som nemala moc času vám o nej povedať (ale urobím tak čoskoro), hlavné ale je: zoznámte sa, toto je Kapsula. Prvé pop-up studio v Bratislave, ktoré sídli v recyklovanom lodnom kontajneri na ŠAFKU (Šafárikovo námestie). Cieľom Kapsule je pravidelne prinášať tematicky zaujímavé pop-ups a vystavovať a predávať lokálne aj zahraničné značky. 
V tejto chvíli je ale najdôležitejšie, že v nej práve prebieha pop-up s číslom jedna: do konca júla v nej môžete po prvýkrát na Slovensku kúpiť ikonickú značku topánok TOMS. Tu pár fotiek z nedávneho otvorenia.
