Fotky z nedávnej návštevy v malom obchodíku holanskej značky YAYA v Bratislave v Poluse. Mňa najviac oslovili veci s jednoduchším dizajnom, napríklad skvelé military-inšpirované kúsky a mäkké jesenné šály a "deky" na prehodenie. Nájdete ich aj na FB, tu aha. 1. This Friday in Prague: another, the third round of Shape & Vision, an evening of talks, projections and discussions mainly on fashion, architecture and their interaction with guests like young designer Mirka Horká. AND with a special, last minute guest: Denisa Nová! See the whole evening here. My aim this week: get to Prague on Friday.
Tento piatok sa koná v Prahe už po tretí krát Shape&Vision, večer komentovaných projekcií a diskusií o móde, architektúre a ich presahoch, so skvelými hosťami, napríklad mladou dizajnérkou Mirkou Horkou. A špéci hosťom na poslednú chvíľu: Denisou Novou! Viac o celom programe tu. Môj cieľ na tento týždeň: dostať sa v piatok večer do Prahy...

3. A very cute and useful collaboration. Novesta teamed up with Pes v núdzi and created special sneakers. Here the ladies's nad here the gent's version. From every pair 10 Euros are going towards Pes v núdzi. Thumbs up!
Veľmi milá a užitočná kolaborácia: Novesta sa spojila s organizáciou Pes v núdzi a vytvorili špeciálne tenisky: tu dámska a tu pánska verzia. Z každého páru ide 10 Eur pre Pes v núdzi. Labky hore za toto!

Here, here, the promised video! Because Isabel Marant is the ultimate "IT" girl and inspiring trendsetter, we decided to find and shoot 9 inspiring Slovak men and women picking their pieces from the new Isabel Marant pour H&M collection. It was a very cool, exciting day, my thousand thanks go out to the team (listed at the end of the video), with special thanks to Katarína from H&M for her trust! Enjoy! Oh, and bellow a portrait gallery of the 9 amazing people.

Ta-dám, sľubované video! Keďže Isabel Marant je zosobnením bohémskeho cool štýlu a trendsetterka najväčšia, do videa na uvedenie jej kolekcie pre H&M sme sa rozhodli nájsť a natočiť 9 inšpirujúcich ľudí zo Slovenska, ktorí si pri natáčaní našli svoj obľúbený Marant kúsok. 
Bol to úplne perfektný deň, za ktorý vďačím všetkým zúčastneným a spolupracujúcim, a špeciálne Katke z H&M za dôveru! Tak nech sa ľúbi :-) A nižšie pridávam fotogalériu deviatich úžasňákov.

Pamätáte si túto dvojicu? Druhýkrát som ich stretla tento víkend v Bratislave (a máme tichú dohodu, že tretie stretnutie by mohlo byť v ďalšom hlavnom meste, napríklad Tokiu). Ivana so svojou značkou Odivi vystavovala a predávala vo White showrooms, súčasti Fashion LIVE! eventu. A jej priateľ bol dokonca jedným z modelov na prehliadke Jakuba Polanku. So Fashion LIVE! 2013 has just begun, I just got back from the opening party (good night!), and I wanted to leave you a few tips what not to miss this weekend in Bratislava:
Takže Fashion LIVE! 2013 je odštartovaný, práve som sa vrátila z otváracej párty (dobrú!), a chcela som vám ešte dať pár tipov, čo tento víkend v Bratislave nezmeškať:

1. Saturday (oh, today already...) kicks off with the very anticipated Fashion LIVE! Talk by Peter Šagát, who is specializing in Fashion Marketing. It is promised to be more than interesting, so drop by Café Berlinka from at 10.30 a.m.
Sobota (aha, vlastne už dnes) začína očakávaným Fashion LIVE! Talk-om Petra Šagáta, ktorý sa špecializuje na fashion marketing. Vyzerá to viac než sľubne, tak sa zastavte od 10.30 v Café Berlinka.

2. All the catwalk shows and the complete programme you can find here. All entrance is free, with the possibility to voluntarily donate to the project, so it can continue to build up a regular Slovak Fashion Week.
Všetky prehliadky návrhárov a kompletný program nájdete tu, aha. Vstupy sú voľné, s možnosťou dobrovoľného príspevku, ktorý pôjde na podporu projektu a cieľa vybudovať pravidelný, dôstojný Slovak Fashion Week.

3. Saturday night is Late Night Shopping (at least till midnight) at the designers showroom at KontAKT, plus a very special styling session with the beautiful stylist and fashion coach, Viola Fetisová, here.
Sobota noc patrí Late Night Shoppingu (minimálne do polnoci) v showroome dizajnérov v KontAKTe (dnes som si to bola pozriet, sú tam super veci!), doplnená neformálnym workshopom o stylingu s krásnou stylistkou a fashion coach, Violou Fetisovou, tu aha.

In the detail: LOVE

Right in the middle of my "give me more gold" phase AND in the middle of working on a video shoot I noticed the most beautiful detail of a gold jewellery. Worn by Simi, a talented girl behind the camera, the piece of gold with the letters LOVE engraved on it was give to her by her father, jeweller Karol Weisslechner, who used an old, like really OLD piece of gold jewellery from his grandmother and transformed it into a new piece. It was given to Simona as a protective charm before her studies abroad... Love the combination with the simple red string. Perfection.

Presne uprostred mojej fázy nazvanej "beriem všetko, čo sa blyští zlatom" a uprosted jedného natáčania videa som si všimla najnežnejší detail zlatého šperku. Na krku Simi, talentovanej to dievčiny za kamerou. Kúsok zlata (v tvare, ktorý pripomína srdce) s vygravírovaným nápisom LOVE vyrobil a daroval Simone jej otec, šperkár Karol Weisslechner, ktorý tak svojimi rukami transformoval kus zlatého šperku po svojej starej mame do nového talizmanu, ktorý mal slúžiť pre šťastie a ochranu na ceste do zahraničia... Dokonalosťou samou je spojenie s jemnou červenou niťou.

Že haló, aká krásna dvojica? Náhoda a slnko mi priviali do cesty dizajnérku Ivu Burkertovú z Odivi. Aj Iva bude tento víkend v Bratislave kvôli Fashion LIVE!, konkrétne ju a Odivi nájdete v showroomoch dizajnérov v KontAKTe na Ventúrskej 12. Bratislava bude tento víkend žiť módou, teším sa! #fashionlive2013

Chunky autumn, Prague

As seen on Designblok. This girl was with the H&M Home presentation and I immediately fell in love with ther chunky, cosy, thick wool look. Including the sturdy boots. Now, my only problem is, chunky with chunky looks great on tiny, fragile people. Us, taller, bigger not so tiny people, have to go with one chunky piece and combine it with different shapes and materials no to look like snow(o)men. Or?

Zachytené na Designbloku. Dievčina sedela pred expozíciou H&M Home a mne okamžite učaroval celý jej pletený, masívny, zababušený, vlnený look. Vrátane bačkoriek. Môj jediný problém s týmto štýlom je, že vyzerá dobre na malých, nežných ľuďoch. My, vyšší, väčší  nie až tak krehkí ľudia, musíme kombinovať jeden masívny kus s inými materiálmi a tvarmi, aby sme neskončili ako snehuliaci. Alebo to chce ešte jeden pokus... :-)

1. Run to Brno today, Thursday, if you can. The currator, creative director and beautiful person Olo Křížová is doing a personal presentation of the exhibition, Voliéra (above), at 5 pm. Hope to make it there!
Ak vám opätky vydajú, bežte dnes do Brna, na komentovanú prehliadku výstavy Voliéra o 17.00 hod. Výstavou prevádza jej kurátorka, kreatívna riaditeľka a krásny to človek, Olo Křížová. Ja dúfam v zázraky a zajtrajší výlet do Brna.

2. One week was enough for two new blogs to be born that are already on my favorit's list. Paulina from me&m, who is now studying in Stockholm, just started her fashion blog, The Gradient Skies. Saša, founder mother of sashe.sk, started to blog about her experiences as a new mum (a real one). Love her way of putting things, just not sure if it makes me want to be a mum or not :-)
Stačil jeden týždeň na to, aby vznikla dva nové blogy, ktoré už teraz mám vo svojich obľúbených. Paulina z me&m, ktorá práve študuje v Štokholme, začala písať fashion blog, The Gradient Skies.
A Saša, zakladateľka matka sashe.sk, začala blogovať o svojich čerstvých zážitkoch matky (takej tej ozajstnej). Jej nadhlad a humor na blogu ma veľmi bavia, akurát teraz neviem, či chcem byť niekedy matkou alebo možno nie :-)

3. Don't worry, just discovered some blogs for men as well, really. Like this one about beards and hair and style and all things barber. Or Mr. Porter, a men's fashion online shop.
Žiadne strachy, nedávno som objavila aj blogy pre mužov, fakt. Napríklad tento o holení, bradách, porastoch rôzneho druhu a štýle, tu aha. Alebo tento online shop špeciálne pre mužov, Mr. Porter.

As created and worn by Drevená Helena. I also love the idea of the white oversized coat together with the simple, gentle, golden jewellery. 

Jemný, jednoduchý, zlatavý šperk vyrobený a v tomto prípade aj nosený Drevenou Helenou. Nápad s bielym oversized kabátom sa mi k tomu extra pozdáva.
